Permission To Leave - Terms and Conditions

Permission To Leave - Terms and Conditions

You agree to indemnify Post Haste Courier of any loss or damage to the consignment as a result of the item being left on the property specified in any electronic ‘Permission to Leave’ request.

If an item is delivered and subsequently found to have suffered damage, a claim may still be made, and the standard claims process will be followed.

It is Post Haste Courier policy that items are not left at unattended / non secure premises, without prior written approval of the receiver. Further, that when such approval is given, it is with the knowledge that the receiver accepts full liability for all items left at the listed premises / location. Completing the electronic ‘Permission to Leave’ form provides such authority and authorises the Post Haste Courier For the avoidance of doubt, the authorisation permits Post Haste Couriers to leave items at the pre-arranged point regardless of whether the premises are attended or unattended.

You declare that you are over 18 years of age and legally entitled to receive alcoholic products.

You undertake that the location provided above has no dogs or obstructions for the Post Haste courier.

Please note that the Post Haste Couriers contract is with the sender, our customer. While the majority of the time a Permission to Leave by a receiver is acceptable, there may be a few occasions where Post Haste Couriers is specifically instructed by a sender NOT to allow a Permission to Leave. On such occasions our courier will leave a card to call regardless of an authority given by a receiver.

Post Haste Couriers is part of the Freightways group of Companies, as such New Zealand Couriers contractors may from time to time deliver items on behalf of other Freightways Companies. These companies could be New Zealand Couriers, Castle Parcels, NOW Couriers or DX Mail. It is also possible that those companies may at times deliver on behalf of Post Haste. Any Permission to Leave given regarding delivery will apply to all Freightways group companies.
